COMING TO THE SITE

Gates will be open around 7:30 a.m.   You are welcome to park anyway around the arena.  There are lots of shaded areas for you to park your car.   Set up your crate and chair inside the building closest to the front gate.   We will start to group together around 8:15 a.m. so that we can promptly start at 8:30 a.m.  If anyone is interested in YOGA, please bring your mat and we will do a quick warm prior to doing our Human Functional Fitness for Agility drills.  Great way to limber up.

 

HOUSEKEEPING RULES:

As always, please pick up after your dogs.   There will be trash cans around the arena for this purpose.   If anyone has a reactive dog, please let us know so we are aware and can be proactive about giving your dog his/her space and keep other dogs within a safe distance.  Please feel free to contact me with any other questions and concerns prior to us starting so I can address it.  

WHAT TO BRING

Either a wire crate or soft sided.

Water for your dogs, shade (if needed) and a chair.  

Food and toy reinforcers:  Low, medium and high level for each.  

WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED

Worksheets/Record Keeping Booklet   (Please bring your own pen)

Kiddie pool for the dogs to cool off in

8:45 a.m – HUMAN Body Awareness (YOGA Warm up) OPTIONAL

9:00 a.m – FUNCTIONAL Fitness for HUMANS 

9:30 a.m   – CANINE Body Awareness (Warm up

10:00 a.m – Handling Fundamentals – Fronts, Blinds, Threadles, 180s, 270s

12:30 noon – 1:30 p.m. – LUNCH      

(Bring your own lunch and we can sit and discuss and troubleshoot any problems)

1:30 a.m – Skills and Drills in short sequences

5:15 a.m – Recap and Q&A
